How this 528 Hz preset is calibrated
This preset places C5 at exactly 528 Hz in twelve-tone equal temperament. That makes A4 approximately 443.993 Hz, commonly rounded to 444 Hz on a chromatic tuner. The guitar strings remain in standard E A D G B E intervals, but every pitch is about 15.7 cents above A4 = 440 Hz calibration.
How to tune safely

Where C5 appears on guitar
With this calibration, C5 at 528 Hz occurs at the eighth fret of the high E string and the thirteenth fret of the B string. Those fretted notes are useful checks, but fret pressure and intonation can move them slightly sharp or flat. Tune the open strings first.
